Client requirement: The client is a mining investor and has requested our services because they are continuously looking for potential mid-size brownfield mining projects in Peru.
Our participation: We continue to assist our client in the negotiations with potential future partners and investors to acquire different brownfield mining projects. To confirm the viability of the projects we have also helped our client to analyse not only the mandatory permits and authorizations needed to develop the projects but also the social impacts that such project could generate. Usually, the projects are located withing the land of rural communities and it is important to take into consideration such social component to develop a successful project and also review if such project comply with all the needed permits and authorizations.
Client benefit: The client is receiving constant support and feedback from our team which is helping them not only to understand the mining and social complexities of this type of operations but to make a conscious and informed decision about its potential projects. Our main focus this year has been related to avoid potential project that could be related with illegal mining, which as previously explained could have a negative impact in our client and mostly in Peruvian economy and society.
