Universidad Pacifico is a top private university located in Lima, Perú.
The client commissioned us to prepare a complaint for the commission of the crimes of illicit appropriation and fraud, due to the fact that a former employee of the institution, using her position, attempted against the assets of the institution and a student of the university.
This complaint is important because it was intended to protect the institutional image of the company, as a work post was misused, damaging the institution’s image and harming a student, especially because the institution’s system was also manipulated, endangering several other students and generating important contingencies.
Thus, based on the supporting documentation on the events that took place, a complaint was drawn up, which led to the initiation of an investigation, after which the prosecutor in charge decided to accept the incriminating thesis proposed by us and formalized the investigation, determining that the former employee had damaged the institution’s assets and deceived the student.
The process is currently in the Oral Trial stage.
