Colegio Cristo Rey de Tacna, is a private Catholic primary and secondary school, located in the city of Tacna in the south of Peru. The school was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1962.
The Firm provided legal assistance in the implementation of the data protection regulations, as well legal defense to Colegio Cristo Rey de Tacna in a supervising action initiated by the Peruvian Data Protection Authority for alleged lack of compliance with the law. Our advice included legal representation in the sanctioning proceedings as well as full implementation of the data protection regulation within the institution. In June 2022, the Peruvian Data Protection Authority declared unfounded any alleged infraction, hence the Client was not sanctioned.
