We successfully represented the company before the Tax Administration (SUNAT) and handle the procedure to obtain the certification of the cost of their shares in Dispercol (a Peruvian company leader in the distribution of plastic resins) for about US$ 14 million.
This process was specially challenging because initially the SUNAT was reluctant to recognize a significative part of the amount required. This motivated us to search jurisprudential precedents to support the position of our client. Although the precedents found were not uniform, we succeeded in persuading to the Administration to agree with us. As a result, the final certification was issued for the full amount required.
