MEDICA DEL PACÍFICO S.R.L. is a company dedicated to the commercialization of medical devices, specialized in the sale of ophthalmological equipment. MEDICA was advised in the framework of an appeal filed by the company ROCA S.A.C. with the award of the good pro granted to MEDICA within the framework of Simplified Adjudication No. 005-2021-INO-MINSA-1-FIRST CALL for the acquisition of two computerized perimeter equipment for replacement, called for a value of US$ 102,000 approx. The defense of the good award granted to MEDICA was complex, since it had to be demonstrated that the equipment complied with the technical specifications established in the Bases of the Process. By virtue of this, it was demonstrated with legal arguments and jurisprudence of the State Procurement Court that MEDICA complied with what is required by the final rules of the process, for which reason the appeal was dismissed and the good favor for MEDICA was confirmed.
