Pernod Ricard is a global company dedicated to the production of alcoholic beverages. We are currently representing and providing assistance and legal defense to Pernod Ricard Peru in an administrative proceeding before the General Directorate for Environmental Health (DIGESA). In this case, a favorable instruction report has been obtained before the Audit Authority, as one of the main observations was dismissed, highlighting the legal defense of our client. It is important to emphasize the legal strategy and the defense plan of action to support our client’s position and obtain a favorable result with respect to one of the main observations, for which it has been possible to demonstrate that the observation conducted by the authority was illegal. For that matter, our legal team verified and analyzed the situation that derived to the inspection and sanctioning proceeding against our client, which included the review and analysis of the different evidence elements, international standards and regulations. Our legal team could demonstrate that all the necessary health cares were carried out and such observation was dismissed.
