The client requires updated advice regarding Peruvian rules applicable to marketing and distribution of offshore funds such as ETF, UCITS to different kinds of clients for example Institutional Investors, retail investors, high net worth investors. The client also requires updated advice regarding the applicable rules that any marketing material should contained in the offering documents.
Finally, the advice included the elaboration of a Report detailing the legal treatment if an entity incorporated and domiciled in Peru seeks to engage a U.S. advisory subsidiary of BlackRock, Inc to manage certain of its assets in a separate account. Both parties would enter into an investment management agreement pursuant to which BlackRock would have investment discretion to buy and sell securities/instruments based on an investment strategy agreed-upon by BlackRock and the Client.
