We have provided advise on regulatory analysis in telecommunications matters for our client Toyota Peru. Specifically, we have assessed Toyota on (i) Trading House Registration; (ii) Value Added Services, including teleprocessing and data processing, as well as data storage and retransmission; and (iii) Trade Register.
This was a complex matter as the team had to analyse not only the applicable regulatory requirements for the service, but also the technical aspects of such project. For that matter, the team carried our several meetings with the technical staff as well as the authority to evaluate the applicable figure for the project designed by Toyota.
Accordingly, we have conducted the Value-Added Services registration before the Ministry of Transport and Communications with a successful result, allowing our client to commercialize its service.
