We advice TS’ start of operations between Canada (Toronto and Montreal) and Peru (Lima) on:
Establishment of the branch: Obtained in a short time with no observations by the Peruvian public registry. We coordinated with TS parent company reviewing all the documents to prevent observations from the public registry, which was achieved. This step is essential since with this act all the permits and authorizations can be requested before different public and private entities.
Flight Permit (FP): Review of all the documentation and prepared the complementary documentation required by Peruvian regulations. Approval of slots maintaining permanent coordination with the DGAC (Peruvian aeronautical authority), the airport operator (Lima Airport Partners -LAP) and the air traffic controller (CORPAC).
International Operating Permit (IOP): we filed this request in parallel to the FP. This action helped us to save time in the review by DGAC.
Emergency Plan: Adaptation of TS parent company’s Emergency Plan to the Peruvian regulations to safeguarding against acts of unlawful interference in civil aviation which is a prerequisite for the IOP.
Access contracts to LAPs essential facilities – Check-in, baggage inspection by X-Ray Machines (HBS) – and Airport Use Tariff (TUUA): for this purpose, the files were prepared with economic and financial information. In response to this, i) research was carried out on the Canadian credit risk offices that issue risk reports, ii) the airline was accompanied in the process and iii) the necessary report was obtained for the satisfactory evaluation of the airline. Our regulation knowledge was useful for the client.
