The client requested our support to review its actions in the face of the questioning initiated by the Customs Administration in relation to the customs value declared in the import of goods. The questioning of the Customs Administration affected the normal operation of the client and represented a risk of increased taxes and the application of fines.
In response to the client’s request, we analyzed the documents submitted during the value questioning procedure and prepared a brief to be submitted to the Customs Administration in order to complement the information supporting the customs value of the goods. This, with the purpose of respecting the amounts declared by the client in the import.
