The consumer filed a complaint against the airline because it cancelled a scheduled flight and did not provide any alternative solution. We were able to file the case to the extent that the cancellation of the flight that was the subject of the complaint was due to meteorological reasons (bad weather).
Acts of God or force majeure such as duly proven meteorological problems are considered by the authority as exemptions from administrative liability if they affect the provision of air transportation services.
