Ex officio complaint filed by Commission No. 3 of the Consumer Protection Commission due to the impact (delays and cancellations) of 103 flights on domestic routes.
The relevance of this case was the thorough and specialized analysis of the reasons for the flight violations. In addition to pointing out that several of the flights that were the subject of the complaint were sanctioned in particular procedures, therefore, a double sanction should not be imposed for the same flight. Likewise, we question Indecopi’s power to initiate ex officio proceedings, since this is the power of another authority (Dirección General de Aeronautica Civil).
