OBRAINSA is a company in the construction and earthmoving services sector that was severely affected financially by its relationship and by the events of the ODEBRECHT case in Peru.
This led it to undergo a preventive bankruptcy process, where our client Tecnología de Materiales S.A. had credits at that moment, as a result of leases of certan equipment, which were essential for the development of the projects and the economic activity of OBRAINSA. Likewise, the operation has allowed the development of the company’s business.
We actively participated in the Creditors Meetings until the Global Refinancing Agreement (AGR) was approved, where it was established a payment schedule. Thus, the company is being supervised the compliance of the first payment. And, if such payment and the following are not fulfilled we would proceed to request the inclusion of the company in a bankruptcy proceeding.
