We acted as legal advisors of the Bank with respect of a financing transaction to an individual based in Peru. The financing will be secured by third parties’ guarantors and pledge over certain assets. Certain assets were shares of a jewerly company in Peru and the guarantor was that company Joyería Aldo S.A.C. who granted a corporate guarantee.
We advised the Bank in the structuring of the security package of the lending agreements, and the analysis of the assets that were going to be granted as collateral to the Bank. In addition, we reviewed the financing documents from the Peruvian law perspective in order to include any detail regarding the guarantees, the guarantor and the borrower situation.
This transaction allowed the company and the induvial to support the operations of the company in Peru and inject more capital to growth their inventory.
