Client Requirement: As part of the permits and authorizations needed by our client to develop Stages 3A and 3B of the Project Modernization of the Port of Callao, an Archaeological Monitoring Program is required by the Ministry of Culture. This type of Monitoring Program has been severely modified in recent regulations and its regulations have not been yet fully developed. Our client needed our expertise to determine which areas of the Project needed an Archaeological Monitoring Program.
Our participation: We analysed the different types of work to be implemented in our clients Project to determine which ones require an Archaeological Monitoring Program. As part of this process, we even had to analyse the possibility that the Client performs this type of work under water. To comply with this requirement our client needed to hire divers with experience in archaeological remains which is not very common.
Client benefit: Client was benefitted with our strategical approach to determine which areas required an Archaeological Monitoring Program. This analysis was essential to achieve the approval of the Project permits and authorizations in a timely manner within our client time schedule.
