We advised our client, in a global restructuring process in order to establishing a new structure for its wireline business (which currently enables its clients to access a range of telecommunications services outside of the US, including in Peru).
We provide our client advisory in order for the latter to count with a clear understanding of the applicable legal framework from a corporate, regulatory and merger control overview. In this sense we analysed potential scenarios proposed by the client, taking in consideration that the final purpose of this restructuring was to consolidate a new JW with a potential investor to which several non-US telecom assets (including Peru) were going to be transferred.
In this case we worked together with the telecommunication and merger control teams, in order to provide an overall advisory for the client in the potential implementation of this structure.
