We offer pro-bono legal counsel to Diospi Suyana, a non-governmental organization that owns and operates a hospital in the Province of Abancay, Department of Apurimac, dedicated to supporting and caring for vulnerable populations.
Our ongoing assistance to Diospi Suyana extends to regulatory matters, specifically concerning the necessary authorizations and permits for importing medical devices used in the hospital. Recently, we advised our client on the exception that allows certain medical device accessories to be imported without the need for sanitary registrations. We have also prepared the required requests to secure an official statement from the regulatory authority regarding these medical device accessories.
Thus far, we have obtained a favourable statement for Diospi Suyana, and we are currently in the process of obtaining the remaining pronouncement required for the organization’s operations.
