Client Requirement: Discover Financial Services has implemented a new feature for its clients called “Click & pay Service” which provides a new way to check out the online transactions made by its clients in several merchants. After been implemented in USA, it is expanded to South America such as Peru.
Our Participation: We provided to them the legal advisory that concentrates in two main aspects (i) define if, under local regulation, this new service is considered as a banking service and (ii) the data protection and consumer protection implications.
Benefit for the Client: Our analysis included the different relations to be part of the service: the DFS-partners and the DFS-merchant.
