We advised Google regarding a pilot project related to the payment model based on a new feed-based
consumption experience for Home & Shorts from Youtube. In this sense, we analysed if such model arises some contingencies and matters regarding the Antitrust Legal Framework.
Therefore, we particularly analysed how this new model could trigger risks of being challenged before the Competition authority, in attention to the new monetization terms for Music and Creators Partners.
In this sense, we took into account how the fact that YouTube (Google) holds a dominant position in the Peruvian market may deliver in some contingencies because of this fact in relation with the Partners and the new conditions.
