We provided tax advice on the sale of Holding Transoceánica S.A., shareholder of Petrolera Transoceánica (one of the most important players in the shipping sector). Our team was involved from the structuring and planning stages to the negotiation and conclusion of the transaction. This matter was challenging considering that among the sellers (17 in total) there were individuals, legal entities, and trusts, each with a particular tax treatment.
