Client requirement: Our client has various mining concessions in Arequipa. Usually, the Concessions are located in the fields of Rural Communities. Our client needed our assistance because one of the members of the rural community wanted to separate its lands from the community lands and leave the rural community. In this sense our client needed to enter into an agreement with such former member of the rural community because its land is very important for our client interest.
Our participation: Our team helped Imerys understanding the Rural Community agreements related to the separation of the rural community member. We also helped Imerys reviewing if the Community agreement was valid according to the law in order to proceed with a possible agreement with the former community member.
