Client requirement: Our client asked our assistance in order to develop a new business opportunity in the department of Ica in Perú.
Traditionally Imerys activities have been developed in the southern regions of Peru, such us Arequipa, however the client is looking to expand its operations and evaluate new business opportunities and providers of mineral products in different regions to improve the range of its supplies.
Our participation: Our team helped in the negotiation of agreements with the new providers as well as with a general overview of its activities, we also performed a red flag due diligence to the providers in order to assure that is operations are developed in accordance with Peruvian legislation and our clients good practices in order to not contribute with illegal mining.
Client benefit: Our assistance helped our client to reach an agreement with a new provider in a correct manner and according to the Peruvian mining laws and regulations. We assisted our client avoiding possible future contingencies related to all the permits and authorizations that the providers need to comply with.
