Mar Andino Peru – Environmental Due Diligence on the 54 Ha. Project

Client Requirement: Client planned to acquire an aquaculture project located in Laguna Punrun with an extension of 54 Ha. As many of ongoing projects, the environmental review of this Project was a key matter to our client. Client requested special care on indigenous community relationship. Our participation: We performed a carefully due diligence on environmental matters and later on we took the collected information to assist our client to better define responsibilities and guaranties of seller in the acquisition agreement. We also collaborated in the design of steps to take the new business, including the proposal of actions to improve certain identified facts. Client benefit: Client was able to take a decision and to carry out negotiations based on legal certainties and findings that were well documented.
