Client requirement: Noatum logistics is a multinational logistic provider that offers specific, integrated, complex and value-added solutions for its client´s supply chains. Noatum wanted to enter into a new agreement with one of the most important mining companies in Peru, therefore, they requested our services in order to confirm if it was necessary to obtain a registry as a mining contractor to perform its services.
Our participation: We assisted our client analysing if the activities to be performed for the Mining Company needed the registry as a Mining Contractor. This registry is mandatory according to Peruvian mining regulations for some activities performed by mining contractors (avoiding potential sanctions related to illegal mining).
Client benefit: The client was benefited with the knowledge that they were not obligated by the law to registry as a Mining Contractor because of the activities to be performed. This analysis helped our client to reach in a timely manner an agreement with the very important mining company and to have solid ground that they were not contributing with illegal mining.
