The Firm assumed responsibility for a portfolio of 73 legal cases on behalf of our client, Petrex S.A., a company operating in the oil & gas sector. These cases covered a range of matters, including reinstatement in the workplace, payment of social benefits, employee’s compensation, severance payments, and contentious-administrative actions initiated by the client.
Our engagement encompassed the formulation of individualized strategies for each case, the preparation of written pleadings, and representation throughout the legal proceedings. Thanks to our proactive involvement, our client has achieved favourable outcomes in 35 of these cases, with 26 cases resulting in victories and 9 cases leading to settlements.
Remarkably, in 2023 alone, we secured victories in 6 cases, resulting in savings of over S/. 2,366,332.32 for the company and the successful elimination of contingencies associated with these proceedings.
