We provided legal assistance regarding the requirements that PIMCO Tactical Opportunities Offshore Fund, L.P (Tac Opps) has to follow in order to invest in a local funds of funds which it is administrated by Sura Management. First of all, we analyzed what kind of fund was PIMCO and if it was an open-ended fund according with Peruvian legislation.
Second of all, we provided to PIMCO Funds an example of a term sheet which contain an example of what information should be disclose by the foreign fund in order to comply with local requirements and finally we review and provided legal assistance regarding the elaboration of a side letter required by Sura Management.
With these documents, Tac Opps was a suitable choice to be part of the Sura Management portfolio.
