We advised Saint Gobain Productos para la Construcción S.A.C. regarding the analysis of a transaction related to the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Z Aditivos (another Peruvian company).
The analysis implied not only the calculation of the thresholds to review if it was mandatory to notify the transaction before the Peruvian Competition Authority, but also how the transaction may impact the Peruvian market. And, in such sense, if it could trigger negative effects over the competition process.
After this analysis, we issued a legal report developing the interpretation of the legal framework which has been recently issued on June, 2021 and we developed the corresponding recommendations.
