Our client formed a Consortium in partnership with another business entity. A legal dispute arose when an employee of the business partner initiated legal proceedings, naming the Consortium as jointly and severally liable for various debts linked to the movement of personnel among several companies affiliated with the business partner. In response, we undertook the defence of our client’s interests, particularly concerning the payment of social benefits within an alleged network of companies, comprising six different entities, including Consortiums.
To address this complex situation, we conducted a comprehensive analysis and formulated a robust legal defence strategy. Additionally, we engaged in direct negotiations with the plaintiff, resulting in their voluntary withdrawal from the legal proceedings and the abandonment of any claims against our client, all without any financial settlement.
