Solana Comercial – Dollar City Owners

The client asked us to evaluate the procedure to follow for the importation of goods regulated by the agricultural authority (SENASA). This is because they faced problems due to the lack of clarity in the steps to follow. Considering that the company imports a high volume of goods that require prior authorization from the agrarian authority and that the error in obtaining this authorization leads to the application of fines and the loss of ownership of the goods, it was essential for the company to have clarity in the procedure to be followed. Considering what was requested, we carried out an analysis of the applicable regulations and established a procedure that could be followed internally when carrying out imports regulated by the agricultural authority. This allowed the company’s operations to be carried out safely, avoiding fines and confiscation of the goods.
