The client asked us for legal assistance in the planning of applications for the restitution of customs duties (Drawback) of the products exported, which allows obtaining the refund of a percentage of the value of the exports of the companies.
In response to the request, we evaluated the documentation and casuistry shared by the client to confirm in which cases the refund could be granted and what documentation should be submitted for such purpose. Likewise, we provided recommendations on the processes followed by the company, in order to align them with the provisions of the customs regime. As a result, the company has been able to file applications and obtain the effective refund of part of the value of its exports.
