We are acting as counsels of the company Trace Perú S.A.C. and Camilo Ferrón Chile, in the acquisition of a percentage of shares in Agroindustrias Oleaginosas del Perú S.A., a company incorporated in the jungle of Peru, related to the agro-industrial sector, that commercializes, refines, and processes the palm oil in the Peruvian market.
Since the sector of the palm oil is regulated in Peru regarding the tax and corporate issues, it is important to analyse the best structure available for our client for its investment in such company. Currently we are in the negotiation phase about the structure for implementing the investment in such Company.
This transaction is very relevant for the palm oil sector in Peru since it is an opportunity to open the shareholding structure, improve the business and enter in the Peruvian market as a new upgraded player.
