Client Requirement: Unique is one of the most important cosmetic companies from Peru and Latin America. As part of its operations, it uses a lot of electronic devices such as smartphones, computers, radios and many other different types of machines related to the core of its business. The client was familiarized with the handle of waste, however, according to Peruvian legislation the electrical and electronic equipment waste (RAEE in Spanish) must be handle in a different way, prioritizing its reuse. Considering our experience, the client requests our assistance to best manage its RAEEs.
Our participation: We have not limited our advice to the explanation on how to manage RAEEs, but also took the opportunity to go further and extend our advice by suggesting channelling the management of RAEEs by entering into an agreement with an NGO. This way, the right management of RAEEs will also be considered as a valuable contribution to the society. Moreover, we provide a name of an NGO that helps to provide treatments to burned kids.
Client benefit: Client is able to create a clear protocol to rightfully manage its RAEEs and also provide a great contribution to the social welfare.
