Viña Tacama is the first vineyard in South America, which has been widely awarded with various awards and recognitions for the quality of its products. In 2023 alone, Viña Tacama has won the gold medal more than 10 times in various competitions.
Like any vineyard, it needs plots where to plant and harvest the grapes (input) that will be the basis for making the wines and pisco that has given Viña Tacama so much recognition.
Along these lines, we have sponsored Viña Tacama in a judicial process to declare the nullity of donation contracts that ignored the property rights over Viña Tacama’s plots and that, undoubtedly, affected production. This controversy has a high technical and legal content, which implied a large deployment of logistics (the judicial process took place in Ica, Department of Peru). So much so that the case has taken 7 years for a ruling to be issued in the first instance.
Thus, with our sponsorship, it has been possible to obtain a completely favorable ruling for Viña Tacama, where the Judge has declared all the claims raised in the Lawsuit valid.
