Ex officio complaint filed by the Commission No. 3 of Consumer Protection to the company and its legal representative. In February 2023, the airline announced the temporary suspension of operations, for which Indecopi initiated ex officio a procedure in order not to affect the rights of passengers, imposing as a precautionary measure the return of tickets to consumers.
We handled the case by absolving the Authority’s requirements until the airline ceased operations. This case is important due to the economic impact that its exit from the market caused in the region.
